The Big Give

Christmas Challenge

This Christmas

Double your donation, Double their joy

Between midday 2nd and midday 9th December, all donations made through the Big Give will be matched!

Childhood can’t wait!

For many children in sub-Saharan Africa, childhood is cut short and children have to grow up fast. They miss out on essential developmental milestones because they miss out on learning through play.

Together, we can ensure children have a childhood full of play, discovery and belonging, like those in the Nyabihu School for the Deaf in Rwanda. Watch the video to find out more.

Will you help us reach our target of £57,500 to help children have a childhood full of joy, play and learning?

How it works

Only donations made between 2nd and 9th December through the Big Give campaign page will be doubled at no extra cost to you!

A donation of £10 will be doubled to £20 and could provide a walking frame for a child, so they can join in with their friends.

A donation of £35 will be doubled to £70 and could provide a playbased learning box full of interactive toys for a classroom.

A donation of £100 will be doubled to £200 and could go towards hot meals, football equipment and tournaments for the Girls United team.

The difference you can make

Bringing up a child with disabilities can be isolating and emotionally challenging for so many parents, especially when experiencing discrimination and poverty. For mother of five Joan, there was little happiness to be found, every day felt like a battle. But everything changed when she found a community that understood her struggle. Because of our amazing supporters, Joan found friendship, support and the help her daughter Francine so desperately needed,

This Christmas, your donations will be doubled through the Big Give to help families like Joan’s find the joy they thought was lost.
