About the Project
The project seeks to train, re-integrate and retain out of school children as well as improve learning outcomes in public basic schools in selected regions in Ghana. Lot 1 and 2 rural is being implemented in 6 districts in the Northern and Northeast regions of Ghana targeting 20,000 out of school children age 8-16 and working with 200 government basic schools.
Goals and Objectives
Key project object for lot rural 1 and 2 is to:
Implement an accelerated learning program to integrate 20,000 out of school children into primary schools
Improve literacy and numeracy learning outcomes in 200 basic schools
CFC is the inclusion and social support partner in the consortium responsible to drive the inclusion and social inclusion sub-component of the project outcomes through evidence-based, adaptive design and delivery of the activities.
Our impact so far
The target beneficiaries are:
1. 20,000 out of school children
2. 200 basic schools.
Project stakeholders include community leaders, Ghana education service, Department of social welfare.
