THIS YEAR YOU HELPED TO RAISE £24,412!
With your generous support the children we help can access a safer place to be, away from the violence of the streets. Children can have access to nutritious food without the worry of where the next meal is coming from and parents with children experiencing disabilities can be helped to care for their children at home away from harmful institutions. None of our work is possible without you – thank you for helping to fight for every child.
FREEDOM FROM FEAR
We are on the precipice of a disaster.
The communities we work with are facing a deepening crisis, one often not spoken about in the media and forgotten about in everyday politics.
A combination of the pandemic, aid cuts and economic uncertainty means that many children are now fighting harder than ever to survive. Children in refugee settlements, experiencing disability or living on the streets are facing danger every day. Abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence leaves children living in a constant emergency, in constant fear. We have to act now.
Your gift is critical to help our partners support children with warm meals, counselling, support at home, access to learning and a safe space to go.
No child should live in danger.
We believe in fighting for the rights of every child. But we can’t do it without you. By 2025 we will support 150,000 to ensure that they can play, grow, learn and thrive. Please give today to help us give safety to the children who need it most.
HOW IT WORKS
To get your donation doubled simply make a donation online through our website or make a call to us on 01483 230 250 and donate over the phone between 13th-24th June.
All money raised through the Big Chance campaign is unrestricted, meaning that funds can be spent where there is the biggest need.
Chance for Childhood has contributed the matched funds from our existing unrestricted funds. This pot of matched funds allows us to double your donations, meaning we can raise more for the vulnerable children we support. If we don’t hit our target, all funds raised will still be used for the purpose of the campaign.
