About the crisis
As of 10/03/2020:
The worst Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has finally been declared over! This is excellent news for children and their communities in North Kivu, the region worst hit by the outbreak and where we work with vulnerable children and young people.
In DRC, we work with our partner Children’s Voice to support marginalised children and young people affected by conflict through inclusive education and vocational training. When the crisis hit, we launched an emergency appeal to support these vulnerable children and their communities and keep them safe. Your response was amazing!
Please donate today to help ensure that 3,000 vulnerable children in the Democratic Republic of Congo can urgently access life-saving prevention measures against Ebola (e.g. Ebola education campaign, soap, water).
Could buy soap and antibacterial disinfectant for 600 children.
Could help deliver essential Ebola education sessions.
Could go towards critical Ebola radio shows to keep people in rural areas safe.

Our promise to you
Without our generous supporters, Chance for Childhood’s life-changing work would simply not be possible. So you have the right to know you can trust us to be fair, honest and treat you with respect.
When you give to Chance for Childhood, we give you our word that your money will help ensure that the most vulnerable children in Africa get the support they deserve.
Any excess funds raised by this appeal will go wherever the need is greatest.
