Corporate partners

We work with businesses to deliver high-impact partnerships. Working with Chance for Childhood can support your organisation to demonstrate its commitment to responsible business that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 4: Ensuring an inclusive and equitable quality education for all

SDG 16.2: ending all forms of violence against children by 2030

We work with children in highly vulnerable situations, such as children living in refugee settlements, who are often not included in mainstream development programmes because they are considered ‘too hard to reach. This means that every £1 donated will help achieve a high social return on investment

We can work seamlessly with your team to deliver data and measurable outcomes to satisfy your corporate governance needs and show your shareholders and stakeholders the impact your business is making.

A STRONG TRACK RECORD OF BUILDING SUCCESSFUL CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

“I am proud that through our partnership we have made a difference to so many children’s lives. When I hear the stories about the children our funds have helped to support, and how they feel more positive about life and are making plans and dreaming about the future, I can’t help but get emotional. Throughout the partnership, we have run several staff trips that have enabled our employees to see the work first-hand. When you go on a trip you realise that you can make a difference.  Every time I go to Rwanda I feel the warmth of the people. Chance for Childhood make sure that every pound you give will make an impact for children in vulnerable situations” Chris Jones, Commercial Manager, Think Money Group

During our 15-year partnership with Think Money Group, we have established a successful Give As You Earn (GAYE) scheme for their employees which has raised over £280,000 to date. We have also supported the implantation of their staff an engagement policy by organising several staff trips to Rwanda where employees have been able to see the impact of their support first-hand. We have also held bespoke webinars for staff who have not been able to travel allowing them to interact with children at Nyabihu Deaf School first-hand and even learn some sign language.

“The Entain Foundation was set up to enable our business to contribute back to society and support communities around the globe. We are proud to be able to support the invaluable work of Chance for Childhood, to make a transformational positive impact on such vulnerable children.” Jette Nygaard-Andersen, CEO of Entain.

Since 2020 we have worked together with Entain to develop two new programmes that support local community ownership and co-creation of sustainable development solutions to meet the ESG objectives linked to Entain’s expansion into the African market.

Through our ‘Change the first 1,000 days’ pilot programme the Entain Foundation has supported 600 out-of-school children to gain access to inclusive education in Accra. As a newly formed foundation, we were able to share our experience of grant-making processes, Trustee recruitment and best practice with Entain as they established the Board.

In 2022 we will be working with technologists at Entain’s Ennovate Hub on an innovative mobile app that digitises and builds on Chance for Childhood’s ground-breaking approach to detect hidden disabilities and development delays amongst pre-school children in Africa.

“The work Chance for Childhood do is absolutely incredible and everything they do is to serve some of the most disadvantaged people on the planet. We couldn’t be happier to support them and their amazing work. As an SME, we wanted to find a group that could benefit the most from our donations and we really feel with Chance for Childhood, we have found the perfect partner”. Ryan Durance, MD Briarwood Partners

Briarwood Partners approached us as they were starting to build their charitable giving programme, looking to donate funds as well as staff time and expertise. A year on their CSR programme is now a key part of the induction process for new staff and is featured on all client presentations to demonstrate their commitment to creating social impact. In addition to generous financial support, Briarwood Partners have also helped us to build strategic relationships to drive forward our own strategic objectives.

“We love that Chance for Childhood work so closely with their partners in Ghana and that we could see the tangible difference our support had. We absolutely feel that our partnership goals have been achieved, and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way.” Helene Weston, Consumer Marketing Co-ordinator (Partnerships and Charities) at Frugi

Throughout our two-year partnership with Frugi customers helped to raise over £90,000 to support Chance for Childhood. Tapping into Frugi’s target market of parents of young children we were able to deliver an integrated digital marketing campaign connecting their customer base with a nursey we support in Accra, Ghana. We created a bespoke partnership plan that included tailored videos, blog posts, social media, staff engagement days and bespoke fundraising ideas that showcased Frugi’s social values as well as inspiring their customers.

Supporting the next generation of Civil Servants through workplace placements
