A street football session for homeless children
Children living on the streets of Mombasa, Kenya, face complex trauma. They struggle to find food and face violence and exploitation.
Your street football session could be the start of turning a street-connected child’s life around! Through the power of sport, children and young people have the opportunity to play and feel safe in their own environment. Across five areas of Mombasa, children can access support from trusted social workers. At the sessions they can also access medical attention if they need it, and have a healthy nutritious meal.
A session could change a child’s life by building a relationship with social workers, who can help to reunite them with family and get them back into education.

At Chance for Childhood we believe that no child should be forgotten! That’s why we work across five countries in Africa to support the most vulnerable children, such as street-connected children, children with disabilities, children affected by conflict and children behind bars.
