Chance for Childhood with Street Child Africa

8 December 2015

We’re very excited to announce that Chance for Childhood will be working closely with fellow charity Street Child Africa from December 2015.

Chance for Childhood and Street Child Africa have common values and a shared passion to help the most vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa. Both charities undertake similar work with similar groups of children. We believe that by collaborating, our combined impact can be greater than the sum of its parts.

Street Child Africa will bring their programmes and experience under the Chance for Childhood umbrella. This will result in a stronger, more complete programme in Africa which is better able to anticipate and respond to the needs of a broader selection of vulnerable children.

We believe the larger organisation will improve services for all our beneficiaries. Together we will be stronger and more effective in our cause to help even more vulnerable children.

We’d like to reassure you all that the focus of our work remains unchanged. Those of you who support us through regular donations or who have left us a gift in your will, do not need to do anything. The relationship will build on our financial strengths and staff expertise.

The need for your support remains as great, as does our heartfelt appreciation for it. We believe that every pound you donate or fundraise will now be put to use in an even more cost-effective way.

If you have any queries about our new working relationship please don’t hesitate to contact us.
