Our 2021 Thank-a-thon!

21 June 2021

This week marks our annual Thank-a-thon! We’re taking the time to thank the people who make our work possible – you! Your generosity means we can be there for vulnerable children when they need us the most.

On our Thank-a-thon day, 24th June, our staff, Trustees and Ambassadors will be getting in touch with our amazing donors. This means that you might receive a call or email from us to say thank you! We’ll let you know how your support made a difference to the most vulnerable children in 2020.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing special messages across our social media to show the impact of your donations. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and see stories from the people you support!

In 2020

Your support reached 18,800 people in marginalised communities and supported 38,000 through our Covid-19 response! Including:

Providing a safe space for 132 street-connected young mothers in Accra, Ghana and vocational training (including tailoring!) so they can earn an income.

Distributing 749 emergency food packages. These were an essential lifeline for families after many parents lost their jobs and were unable to feed their children.

“Without your support, our work wouldn’t be possible. Over the past 15 months the pandemic has stolen children’s futures. Children have faced hunger as lockdowns destroyed their families’ livelihoods. Your kindness has bought hope to so many children, providing them life-saving food parcels, face masks, a safe space, access to education and a chance of a brighter future. Your support helps to change lives!”

– Anna-mai and Katie, Co-CEOs

Thank you!
