Your BIG Chance: Frugi is doubling your donations until 29th May!

17 May 2020

Across the world the most vulnerable in society have been hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. This crisis requires a big response. So we’ve teamed up with our partner, Frugi, to launch the BIG Chance! For 11 days, donations will be doubled by Frugi until we hit our target of £30,000! Make a donation now and it will go twice as far.

Your chance to make a big difference

At times of crisis it can be hard to know how you can make a difference. Our team on the front-line and our local partners are already working so hard to distribute emergency supplies and support to the most vulnerable who have been hit hardest. But they can’t do it alone, we need your support now more than ever.

By donating to the BIG Chance your gift will have twice the impact and will mean we can step up and maintain our response to ensure no child is forgotten.

Our work is needed now more than ever

With the outbreak of the COVID-19 global pandemic, there has never been a greater need for our work. Already marginalised children are now at even greater risk and facing bigger challenges. We are determined to do everything we can to support the vulnerable children and communities we work with.

“We are battling two wars. Hunger and Coronavirus. Hunger has always been there but we have never won. Coronavirus has just come in. We are not yet sure if we will overcome it. We just have to take the risk as there is no alternative.”

Street connected child in Kenya

From food deliveries to providing PPE, right now our partners are working tirelessly to support vulnerable children through COVID-19. But they can’t do it alone.

By donating £15, your gift will be doubled to £30 when and could provide an emergency food package for a young mother and child who are facing hunger on the streets of Accra.

How to take part in BIG Chance

There are just 11 days for us to reach our target of £30,000. To ensure your donation is doubled all you have to do is make a donation online through our website or over the phone by calling 01483 230 250 between 18th-29th May.

We know that you share our commitment to creating sustainable and long-term difference to enable us to not just support children now, but for generations to come. That’s why all money raised through this campaign will be unrestricted so it can be spent where the need is greatest. The BIG Chance is an opportunity for your donation to go further at this unprecedented time of need.
