What are Chance for Childhood’s virtual gifts?
Our virtual gifts are a great way to give a unique present to friends and family. The gifts are real, life-changing activities we deliver to children in the most vulnerable situations in Africa.
Where will my money go?
Depending on the gift you purchase, your donation will either go to our education or our justice for children projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. For example, if you buy a School Kit, your money will go towards our work improving access to education for vulnerable children.
We spend your money carefully and make sure it goes where it is needed most. Whichever gift you buy, it will make a real difference to improving access to education for children in vulnerable situations.
What will the recipient receive?
They will receive an e-card via email, either immediately after purchase or on the date you specify. We’ll tell them you bought them a virtual gift and give them their unique link to access their personalised e-card.
What is an e-card?
The recipient can access the e-card by clicking the link in the email we send them. It can be opened in their internet browser, on a desktop computer or mobile phone. There, they will also have an option to download a PDF version of the e-card.
The e-card contains fantastic images from our work relating to the gift you sent, as well as information about the gift and the people it will help.
Please note we no longer attach PDFs to the email.
How quickly do you process my order?
Your order will be processed immediately. You can select to send the e-card immediately or specify a date. If you choose to specify a date, the e-card will be sent at 11AM on that date.
You will receive a confirmation email that your e-card has been delivered as soon as it’s sent.
